SDL Freelance Translator

RWS Group is looking for talented and experienced Freelance Translators to join a network of professional linguists. As an SDL Freelance Translator, the role involves delivering high-quality translations for a diverse client base.

This is a remote position, allowing for work from anywhere in the world while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities may include:

• Translate a variety of content types, including technical documents, marketing materials, legal texts, and more, from source language to target language.
• Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and adhere to client-specific guidelines and terminology.
• Collaborate with project managers, editors, and other translators to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations.
• Utilize SDL's translation tools and software to enhance efficiency and consistency in the work.
• Participate in quality assurance processes, including proofreading and editing translated materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all translated content and client information.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional translator with a strong portfolio of completed projects is desirable.
• Proficiency in at least one source language and one target language (native-level proficiency preferred).
• Familiarity with SDL translation tools and software (e.g., SDL Trados Studio) is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality translations.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to various content types and industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
