Welcome to Wahojobs. This privacy policy explains our practices regarding any information we might obtain from you or about you, in connection with your use of our website.

What personal information do we collect?

Wahojobs does not collect any personal data from visitors to our website, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses, unless you voluntarily provide it and give your consent. We may store a hash of your IP for 24 hours to prevent fraudulent behavior, along with the city you are located in for data analysis purposes. However, this information cannot be traced back to you.

Do we use 'cookies'?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell or trade your Personally Identifiable Information. For optional Wahojobs accounts, we use WorkOS for sign-in as explained below. We might use ipgeolocation.io to store the city in which you are located along with a hashed version of your IP; this cannot be traced back to you.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

Wahojobs accounts and My Jobs

Accounts are optional for browsing jobs and opening employer application links. Wahojobs uses WorkOS to verify sign-in. With Google or LinkedIn sign-in, basic identity information such as your name, email, profile picture and provider identifiers is shared for authentication. If you choose email-code sign-in, the email you enter is sent to WorkOS to deliver the code and verify your identity. Wahojobs stores your verified email, the identifiers linking your WorkOS identity to your Wahojobs account, and sign-in/session records. Essential secure cookies maintain the shared sign-in and protect account actions.

The same Wahojobs account can be used for My Jobs and your own advertising and billing functions. Connecting a separate existing advertising account requires authenticated control of both sign-ins and your confirmation. Wahojobs retains the mapping to that existing account so its listings, reviews and payment-customer references stay attached to their owner. Visiting an advertising page does not itself create a billing customer or purchase.

When you use My Jobs, Wahojobs stores the selected job references, your saved/applied/hidden choices, and dated changes to those choices. We use these records to show and restore your job history between visits. Signing out or a job becoming unavailable does not erase that history. Opening an employer application link does not record an application; you mark a job as applied yourself.

For candidate account-data questions or requests to access, close or remove account data, contact contact@wahojobs.com through our existing support route. Account-data requests are handled manually. V1 has no self-service account deletion or automatic account/history purge schedule. Signing out, unsaving or hiding a job does not erase account records, change history or recovery backups.
