We are currently looking for people to participate in our Banyan In-Car Audio Data Collection project.
What is the project about?
The purpose of this data collection project is to improve In-Car Voice Assistant Command systems.
Task Description:
Following the guidelines, you will record a provided set of English sentences in 3 short sessions across 3 days (one morning, one afternoon and one evening). The recording sessions will have to be done inside a parked car with different set ups (e.g., windows down, A/C on, in-door parked car). No driving is required for this project.
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
Be 18 years or older.
Be a resident of India.
Be fluent in English.
Have a smartphone.
Have access to a car with A/C (no driving is required).
Have access to indoor parking (garage, indoor parking structure/ building, does not have to be private parking).
For this project we are looking for specific demographic groups, once we complete the collection for a demographic group, we will be closing it.
Where is the project taking place?
This is a fully remote project, so you do not need to travel to any of our premises.
When is the project taking place?
Project start date - immediate.
Within a week after your registration our team will reach out to selected candidates with information about the next steps.
How much is the compensation?
Your successful participation will be rewarded with $20.
As payment method we offer PayPal, Gift Card and Wire Transfer, according to your preference.
Please note that all submissions will be checked by our Quality Assurance team and compensation will be provided for fully completed and accepted assets.
How long does it take?
The final result of your contribution to this project will be 10 minutes of recorded speech per session. There will be 3 recording sessions that need to be completed during 3 different days: one in the morning of day 1, one at noon of day 2 and one in the evening of day 3. Please reserve time to listen to your recordings before submitting them and re-record after reviewing again the guidelines when necessary.
